Elevation Difference App

To use this tool, click the 'Get Location' button and the map will move to your current position. If the result is inaccurate, select 'manual location' to set your current location manually.

Once your location is set, select a location you'd like to compare your elevation to on the map and click the 'Compute Elevation Difference' button.

Unfortunately, I cannot access GPS hardware directly on a web app so some triangulation may be inaccurate.

The Open-Elevation api is used for this app, it is routinely overwhelmed by requests so this may interfere with Elevation calculations intermittently.
